Apple Cinnamon Loaf Bread

Banana bread is so over for the fall. Now that it's chilly out it is all about the pumpkin and apple flavors for the season. I actually don't really like pumpkin flavor but I do try and incorporate in apple flavors into what I am eating and drinking. I know its Saturday morning and I promise you, you will want to enjoy this Sunday AM with some coffee!


I found this great recipe for Apple cinnamon loaf bread online so I wanted to try it out, turns out, it is super yummy!


What you need:

- Small bowl

- Mixing bowl

- Mixer (stand, hand or yourself)

- Measuring cups

- Measuring spoons

- Knife & cutting board

- Non-stick loaf pan


Ingredients:

⅓ Cup brown sugar (not packed)

1 Teaspoon cinnamon


⅔ Cup white sugar

½ Cup salted butter


2 Eggs

1 ½ Teaspoon vanilla extract

1 ½ Cup white flour

1 2/4 teaspoon baking powder

½ Cup milk

1 peeled & chopped apple



Now let's start baking! First you will want to coat the loaf pan with some non stick thing (I use pam but you can also use butter and flour) and preheat the oven to 350º (Fahrenheit).

  1. Mix the brown sugar & cinnamon in the small bowl, set this aside for later.

  2. In the mixing bowl, add in the sugar & butter until it's smooth.

  3. Add in one egg at a time.

  4. Combine the flour & baking powder (I like keeping it in the measuring cup the flour is in). Slowly add this to the mixing bowl.

  5. Pour in the milk.

  6. Take the mix and pour about 1/2 of it into the loaf pan.

  7. Add 1/2 the apples & sprinkle on the brown sugar & cinnamon mix (OR you can mix the chopped apple into the mix so its already combined).

  8. Add the rest of the batter ontop of & repeat adding on the apples and sugar.

  9. Pop it in the oven for about 60 minutes.

  10. Enjoy!
