Everyday Makeup Routine
Yeah, makeup is a little different these days. People are either diving super into the natural thing and really putting nothing on. I unfortunately, am not confident enough to be one of those people. Every day for work, before my 9am morning meeting, I end up putting on a few things, mostly to make those under eye circles and look my cheeks look a bit more cheerful. All products are linked and prices are listed in pics!
On a daily basis these days this is what I use:
GrandeLash MD, this is a holy grail product of mine. I put it on before I go to bed and as the first thing to put this on. I love how thick and long this makes my lashes!
Pat McGrath Sublime Perfection Concealer, in color L6, this is such great coverage for dark bags under-eyes! A little goes a long way with this and I don't know what I was doing before I started using it!
Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer with SPF 30, Shade 2W1, this is the perfect tinted moisturizer. It is light coverage so your face can still breath but I adore that it has the SPF protection, you need that on your face every single day!
Charlotte Tilburry Wonderglow, I love using this ontop of my tinted moistruizer. It adds such a nice healthy glow to the skin! You really dont have to put anything else ontop of this.
Hourglass Arch Brow Sculpting Pencil, I use shade warm brown. I love the spooli brush on this, I use it to brush up my brows and my eyelashes for the day. The angle the pencil is at is absolutely perfect, it provides such great coverage! I also love that Hourglass has so many different shades.
Anastasia Clear Brow Gel, Anastasia is known for her brows! This is the perfect to make sure your brows stay in place all day!
Tom Ford Bronzing Powder (sometimes), In Gold Dust. Sometimes, I feel like I need a bit of an extra glow, I normally put this on in the spring/summer for an extra boost. It gives a nice additional glow to your skin that looks perfect!
NARS blush in Orgasm, I've been using this blush for years now & a little goes a long way. It is a nice peachy/pink color with a hint of shimmer. Its easy to brush on and head out the door!
Clé de peau illuminating powder, in lavender. This is a bit pricy but a little goes a long way (I've had the same pallet for over 3 years). I love doing a little touch on my noes & cheek bones to make them have a perfect subtle standout.
NARS Eyeshadow Pallet, (sometimes) I put this on when I want a little sparkle, I used to put this on when I'd go on dates (gosh remember going on dates) or a night out with the girls!
Tom Ford Eye Define Pen (rarely), in the shade deeper. A few years ago I was using eyeliner on a daily basis. I don't anymore but will throw this on for a fun night out or special occasion. The way the ink glides on is to die for!
Tarte Fake Awake, This is perfect to add to the corners of your eyes and lower lash line. It gives an illusion of brighter eyes.
Tweezerman Eyelash Curler, yep this is a must have in my books. It will lift and curl your lashes before you put mascara on. To be honest, the best way to use this is if its a bit warm, you can run the blowdryer over it for a while.
Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara, This is another holy grail product. It adds an amazing amount of volume and length to lashes. As a bonus, you wont get little flakes under your eyes like other Mascaras do. I have an embarrassing amount of these in backstock just so I don't run out!
Chanel Healthy Glow Lip Balm, I use shade light & medium. It is a nice moisturizing tint to your lips!
Overall, I know "everyday makeup" is such a subjective term at this point. I dont know, sometimes I really feel like throwing on eye liner (which I don't wear normally in non-pandemic terms) just to feel a little extra and special.
