June 2022 Goals
Summer, you are finally here! It is time to shake off the last of the cold, break out the shorts and get ready for a fun few months! It is crazy thinking back to being in school and how the countdown to summer was all too real. This may possibly be the last summer we are able to work from home so I want to make the most of it, like a little kid!
This month, is another "me" month & I am very excited about it. I want to:
Walk 10K steps a day. Yes, the simple beast of walking 10,000 steps a day... I have been on a very interesting fitness journey over the past few months that has included some triumphs and a lot of failures. One thing that needs to remain consistent is getting 10K steps a day. It helps burn off calories, is a great excuse to step away from your computer and has been proven to help with weight loss. This ontop of drinking more water, healthy eating habits as well as working out on a regular basis. Getting those 10K in some days is really tough but I think it will be worth it!
Make more plans! I am someone who will always take a relaxing day/evening of just doing "whatever" as opposed to making plans ahead of time. This however, makes me lazy and prevents me from seeing some of my closest friends. I am working towards making more plans on a weekly basis. It'll be something to look forward to as well as something fun to do!
Save money, out of one side of my mouth I am talking about making fun plans, out of the other side of my mouth, I am talking about saving money. I have A LOT of weddings, baby showers and moving expenses coming up soon, I need to save all of my pennies to go into that as well as a trip coming up in November. My head already hurts with how much money I am going to need to spend so I am working on saving as much as I possibly can.
