Rent The Runway January

Updated: Feb 24, 2020

This January I was all about getting sweaters from RTR. Sweaters are bulky, hard to store & go in and out of fashion with the different styles, thankfully RTR makes it easy to be trendy and cozy all at the same time.

Mara Hoffman Cream Olia Sweater: I was hesitant to rent this at first. I am currently not super thrilled with my stomach (its the first spot I start gaining weight). Since I have RTR Unlimited why not give it a try, especially since I LOVED the sleeve structure. Turns out, the sweater was really flattering & I got a ton of compliments on it. I for sure will be keeping this into February.

Victor Alfaro Collective Colorblock Oversized Sweater: Even though this sweater is mostly made from acrylic, I wanted to give it a shot. It looked really cute on the website and I am all for the oversized sweater with a color-block on it. I actually ended up wearing this to work a few times but I wore it more over the weekends to run errands. The sleeves are a bit long so I would recommend going a size down.

ba&sh Jaime Sweater: Another cute chunky clolor-block sweater. This sweater is super cute however it looked a little boxy on. I wore it with some OTK boots to try and make my legs look a bit longer since the sweater overall is boxy.

Veronica Beard Kama Dress: Wanted to give this a try. I got it thinking it would look cute with a long sleeved black turtleneck and some OTK boots. I was a little worried it would highlight my pooch, turns out it wasn't cute so I returned it.

ALALA Black Velvet Bomber: I saw this on RTR and thought about how simple but cute it was. It turns out, it is super cute however it isn't super warm and the one I got actually had a missing piece for the belt. It was soft and oversized so it was super comfortable.

Rails Rebel Button Down: This is a classic easy button down. The snakeskin looking pattern detail definitely spices up the average button down. I wore it with black booties & black jeans for a simple look.

Sandy Liang Dean Faux Fur Jacket: This jacket may be one of my favorite things I've rented from RTR. It is just a fun jacket in my option (others, well someone asked if I was going to be in a Gwen Stefani music video). Since some of January was pretty mild, I used it over some sweaters for a second layer. I'm keeping it into February.
